Vibratory and Centrifugal Valve Sorter Systems
Designed for the automated sorting and insertion of aerosol valves without dip tubes.
These insertion systems feature a high speed stainless steel vibratory sorting bowls designed to automatically sort, orientate, feed, insert aerosol valves with or with out dip tubes into containers. An integrated valve detection system is standard to assist with automated production requirements. Common valves used on these systems include:
- valves with no diptubes;
- valves with diptube with lengths less then 1.5″ (37 mm);
- bottle valves; and
- assorted custom valves.

Propellant Charging
Propellant Charging through the use of positive displacement design and time filling techniques.
The Terco Propellant Filling Chambers with their positive displacement design have become the industry standard for accuracy and dependability.
The exclusive design features Teflon packing seals that are externally adjustable. This allows seal wear to be compensated for with a simple procedure that does not require stopping the filling line, providing less downtime and greater efficiencies for your manufacturing operations.
Each charging head features Terco’s exclusive Mechanical Charging Valve as a safety feature. When properly set-up, the Mechanical Charging Valve activates against the container to direct propellant into the aerosol valve. When a station is not set-up properly, the Mechanical Charging Valve prevents propellant from escaping from the head. Thus, reducing the possibility of operator exposure risk.

Crimpers
Crimping with and without vacuum for 1″ and bottle valves.
The Terco crimping series is based around the 3-Stage Crimping Cylinder Assembly that allows for interchangeable heads to perform various crimping operations. The 3-Stage Crimper Cylinder is an exclusive Terco design that provides a common station with flexible processing capabilities.
Standard heads for the 3-Stage Crimping Cylinder include: – Universal Non-Vacuum Crimper (1″ Aerosol Valve); – Vacuum Crimper (1″ Aerosol Valve); – Non-Vacuum Bottle Crimper; – Vacuum Bottle Crimper; – Low Pressure Around Valve (LPAV).
Each vacuum crimping station features a Vacuum Sensing Valve to assure that the proper amount of vacuum is being achieved in each container. Unlike time-based systems, this design helps maximize line efficiencies while providing for quality end products.
Terco was the first company to develop the Vacuum Bottle Crimping Station. This equipment is for use with the new filling techniques for Metered Dosage Inhalators (MDI) in the pharmaceutical industry.

Model M2VI Valve Insertion Systems
Designed for the automatic insertion of aerosol valves with dip tube lengths over 1.5″ (37 mm).
The M2VI Series Valve Insertion system brings reliability and automation into the modern aerosol facility. The rotating insertion tube design allows the feeding and pre-loading of one aerosol valve while the previous valve is being placed. This method allows for increased line speeds and production capacities.
The system is complete with Insertion Head(s), automated Valve Sorter, and Valve Detection Heads. Optional Valve Setter-Detector Heads are also available if a dimpled valve is being used. Sorters are available in both magnetic and non-magnetic versions to allow for best efficiencies in your line.

Product Fillers
Positive displacement product fillers designed with high accuracy filling in mind.
The positive displacement design of the Terco Product Filling Chambers have become the industry standard for accuracy and dependability. The exclusive design features Teflon packing seals that are externally adjustable. This allows seal wear to be compensated for with a simple procedure that does not require stopping the filling line, providing less downtime and greater efficiencies for your manufacturing operations.
A range of chamber capacities includes micro dosing at 10 cc capacity and then in a range up to 810 cc capacity. Each features stainless steel construction and adjustable dispensing capacity.
Even our Dispensing Nozzles feature the same sealing technology with external adjustability. Their positive shut-off design features stainless steel construction and Teflon seating tips. A variety of nozzle orifices are available to meet your individual process needs.
For the specialized needs of dairy and sanitary applications, Terco offers a complete range of product filling stations. Each station features 316 stainless steel construction and positive displacement chamber design. Clean-In-Place (CIP) features are also available as an upgrade.
